Adina Rosen, MSW, LCSW
I graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. I received my Masters of Social Work from New York University. I practiced in the New York City and DC areas before moving to Colorado Springs several years ago.
I enjoy working with individuals and families, and meet with clients ages 10 and up. I specialize in issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, behavioral problems, perinatal mental health, women’s issues, and personal growth. The therapeutic relationship is at the core of our work, and so I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to create a safe, secure, and accessible environment for my clients. I am trained in person-centered and strengths-based theories, and am passionate about collaborating with individuals of all ages to be proactive about their treatment goals.
I believe in a holistic approach to my therapeutic work, encompassing mindfulness, self-care, and interpersonal connection to achieve optimal well-being and balance. I integrate mindfulness to help my clients more effectively navigate emotions, bolster self-confidence, and improve relationships. As a Certified Brainspotting Therapist, I also support my clients in more deeply processing the emotional and physical effects of trauma to live a life of deeper healing and fulfillment.
I value my own practice of yoga and pilates as a part of my regular self-care. I also love hiking, running, reading, and spending time with my dog, Arthur- who can also join your therapy session as an additional support, if you are interested!
